The Ivy Collection has promoted Julia Gilbert to operations director of the Ivy Asia.
She was previously operations manager of Ivy Asia and general manager at Ivy Asia St Paul’s.
The appointment follows the promotion of Laura Mills to chief operating officer at The Ivy Collection earlier in the summer.
Mills was previously operations director at The Ivy for more than three years.
Before that she was an area manager for five years, and also previously worked at Living Venture’s Australaisia, MCR House and Artisan as an operations director.
The Richard Caring-backed group of restaurants has not announced the appointment of a new CEO since the departure of Baton Berisha in December 2021.
It was reported at the time that Caring had taken over day-to-day management of his collection of restaurants, which also includes Scott’s, J Sheekey and Sexy Fish as part of Caprice Holdings.
