Faye Hance has left Wagamama to become head of human resources at Five Guys, the fast-growing US burger brand, M&C Report understands.

Hance had been head of human resources as Wagamama since January 2009. Previous to that she spent a stint as HR business partner at BT.

Her appointment comes as Eduardo Carnevale has stepped down from Five Guys, as its head of training to join Barburrito as its new regional operations manager for the South.

Five Guys has recently lined up two further regional openings in Nottingham and Leeds.

The 14-strong group has secured a unit at the Cardigan Field Leisure Park, Leeds and applied to open at the former Pizza Hut unit facing the Old Market Square in Nottingham.

The Leeds site is expected to open in early December, along with sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London’s Argyll Street.

The company opened its latest site earlier this month in Harlow Water Gardens, with openings at the O2 and in Bristol to follow next month.

It is understood to be in talks on a further site in Cardiff.
