Spanish pizza delivery chain Telepizza has appointed Domino’s Pizza UK’s Nick Dutch as its first digital director, as it gears up to launch in the UK.

Dutch spent five years with Domino’s as head of digital marketing and ecommerce.

He said: “I am excited about joining Telepizza. I hope to bring my knowledge and experience of utilising digital to win in the delivery market and help the successful growth of the company, which is committing significantly to a highly ambitious multichannel transformation alongside its international expansion”.

Telepizza, which operates more than 1,300 in 15 countries through a network of own stores, franchisees and master franchisees, signed up its first master franchisee partner in the UK in May. The Karali Group is set to open 80 Telepizza stores in the UK over the next decade.
