Domino’s Pizza Group has announced the appointment of Steve Barber as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2015.

On appointment Berber will become a member and chairman designate of the group’s Audit Committee.

He is currently an independent non-executive director of Next plc. He has been chairman of Next’s Audit Committee for eight years and has over 40 years experience in accountancy and finance.

The company further announced that Michael Shallow will retire as chairman of its Audit Committee and from its board of directors on 31 July 2015 having served nine years on the board as an independent non-executive director.
