Wagamama, Dishoom and Moto Hospitality were some of the biggest businesses named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list 2024.

Moto, which employs 5,700 employees, was recognised for efforts to promote diversity inclusivity, and it was also given a special Spotlight Award as the best place for work for people aged 55+.

Dishoom was awarded the Spotlight Award for best places to work for ethnic minorities, scoring 91% engagement among 525 survey respondents from ethnic minorities, who represent about a third of the 1,534-strong workforce.

The 8,200-strong Wagamama was recognised for offering a “stepping up” programmes, performance bonuses, high street discounts and free meals.

Recognised In The big companies category, for those with staff numbering 250-2,000, were Drake & Morgan, Flat Iron Steak, Hall & Woodhouse, Heartwood Collection, Individual Restaurants, JKS Restaurants, Oakman Group, Rare Restaurants, Red Engine, Wingstop Uk, Bella Italia, Dishoom, Las Iguanas, Mowgli Street Food, Permanently Unique Group.

In the medium category, Bao Lina Stores, Longbow Bars & Restaurants, Farmer J, Jamie Oliver Group, Nell’s Pizza.
