David Campbell has been appointed chairman of Danish Bake Holding, the parent company of Ole & Steen, Lagkagehuset.

Joining to work alongside CEO Jason Cotta, he also has board experience with Hospitality Rising, Pacha Group, Formula One, Virgin Radio, The O2 and Bill’s Restaurants.

The Denmark-based company said he would add valuable hospitality sector and operational expertise to the board, as the bakery brand looks to strengthen its position across Denmark, London and New York.

The brand, which is called Lagkagehuset in Denmark and Ole & Steen in the UK, is backed by Nordic Capital Fund VIII and L Catterton Europe IV.

He said: “Ole & Steen, Lagkagehuset is a truly differentiated and high-quality concept with substantial potential for further growth. I look forward to taking on the role as chairman and working together with CEO Jason Cotta and his team to continue the growth journey.”
