Dennis Hogan is to leave Compass Group North America to become the new managing director of the international contract caterer’s UK and Ireland business from 1 January 2014.
He will replace Ian Sarson who is moving to a new role as director of Healthcare & Senior Living for Compass Group in Europe & Japan. Both Hogan and Sarson will report directly to Andrew Martin, Compass Group chief operating officer, Europe & Japan.
Hogan has been with Compass for 17 years, in a number of operational and finance roles.
Martin said: “I’d like to thank Ian for the fantastic contribution he’s made to our business in the UK & Ireland over the last three and a half years. He leaves it in great shape and I’m delighted that Dennis will be joining to lead it through the next exciting stage of its development.
