Bea’s of Bloomsbury, the London-based all-day cafe and restaurant operator, has appointed Lisa Brook as its new chief executive.

Brook joins the five-strong group from Foodco, which operates Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue, where she was UK country manager.

At Foodco she oversaw the development of the Jamaica Blue and Muffin Break franchises, before leaving the business earlier this year.

Brook joined the group in 2015 from Patisserie Holdings and oversaw c10 Muffin Break openings and two Jamaica Blue openings.

Brook was formerly the director at Flour Power City Bakery until it merged with Patisserie Holdings in 2014, after which Brook joined Philpotts to launch the Café Philpotts concept.
