Bill’s chief financial officer Nick Gray is the latest senior figure to leave the Richard Caring-backed restaurant group, MCA understands.

Gray, who was appointed in September 2019, has resigned as a director of three Bill’s companies, according to filings at Companies House.

MCA understands Ivy Collection CFO Jonathan Peters, who joined in March 2019 from the Everyman Media Group, will take over finance duties at Bill’s.

Gray, a chartered accountant who trained at PwC, was previously with Fuller’s for almost four years, up to the £250m sale of its brewing business to Asahi last year.

His apparent departure follows news of executive chairman David Campbell and managing director Sarah Hills leaving the business around a month ago.

Baton Berisha now oversees both The Ivy Collection and Bill’s as managing director.
