BigDish has appointed Sanj Naha to assist in developing the company’s strategy for growth in the UK.
Naha has more than 25-years experience in hospitality and over ten specifically in hospitality technology.
He previously worked as head of B2B marketing and sales enablement for The Fork, a restaurant booking platform that was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2014 for a reported USD 140 million.
The food tech company, which operates a yield management platform for restaurants, launched in the UK last month, in Bath, and plans to expand regionally before tapping into the London market.
The company, which was established in the Philippines by Briton Aidan Bishop, has also launched its new Merchant App.
The native Android and iOS Merchant App will allow restaurants to modify any deal on any given day in real time. It will also allow them to receive push notifications of incoming bookings as well as the ability to alter the capacity and pricing of its deal periods.
BigDish CEO Joost Boer commented: “We plan to continue to develop the app and add more sophistication and features progressively with a view to creating a market leading proposition for restaurants and consumers alike.

BigDish’s entry into the UK followed its acquisition of Pouncer – a UK-based yield management restaurant booking provider – earlier this year.
