Antic Pubs has appointed Gary Cowles as chief operating officer.
Cowles was previously COO for Paul UK. He was also operations director for Stonegate Pub Company and operations manager for Mitchells & Butlers.
Antic London operates c16 pubs, predominantly in southeast London. Founded in 1999 by Anthony Thomas, it traditionally identifies areas being rejuvenated, with architecturally interesting and well-positioned sites, to open pubs for the local communities.
