All Star Lanes, the boutique bowling concept, has promoted Graham Cook to the role of interim managing director in the wake of Christian Rose’s departure earlier this summer.

Cook has been with the five-strong company since July 2016, most recently as director of guest proposition.

Rose’s departure came as the company, which is backed by a number of high-net-worth individuals, was taken off the market.

He has since joined Powerleague, the five-a-side football pitches operator, as its chief executive. Michael Evans, All Star Lanes group finance director, has joined Rose at Powerleague.

In April, MCA revealed that the business had appointed advisors BDO to assesses options to fund its next stage of growth. It is thought that despite interest from trade players and private equity, the backers of All Star Lanes have decided to hold on to the business for the foreseeable future.
