Mission Mars has appointed a new managing director for its Abert’s Schloss and MM Bars division.
Alex Ford will join the company in early February from Oakman Inns, where he has spend almost a decade as operations director and for the last two years, managing director.
Prior to this he had stints with Greene King, operating 24 unbranded central London pubs.
Ford previously spent time at Mitchells & Butlers as a graduate trainee and business development manager.
It comes after the company appointed James Newman as sales and marketing director in the Autumn.
Last week, Mission Mars reported strong growth across the group over the last two years, with bavarian beer hall concept Albert’s Schloss delivering 6% lfl growth.
It is to debut in London on Shaftesbury Avenue next summer.
