Zonal has appointed its first sales executive for Scotland tasked with developing opportunities among small and medium companies north of the border.
John Brown has a brief to develop new business through focusing on developing electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) systems for independent restaurants and bars. He will also cover Northern Ireland and northern parts of England.
Stuart McLean, chief executive of Zonal, said: “We know there are many independent restaurant and bar operators out there who need increased support in terms of their EPoS systems and we now have the resources to help them maximise the potential of technology.
“Most big operators have already gone down this route – so it is important that smaller establishments act now so they don’t get left behind. There is a great deal of untapped potential across Scotland in terms of outlets looking to harness the technology revolution – and John’s appointment will enable us to cater for this.”
Brown said: “It’s a great opportunity to be joining Zonal and I look forward to helping the company build its presence across Scotland by encouraging more hospitality operators to see the big difference technology can make to their business performance.”
