YO! Sushi, the Quilvest-backed, Robin Rowland-led chain, has secured its second site in London within a couple of weeks, after taking on the former Italian restaurant L’Ulivo, which forms part of Baker Street underground station.

The company, which operates over 70 restaurants, returned to the central London acquisition trail earlier this month, after securing the former Rohan site in Kensington High Street. It is thought to be close to announcing a third acquisition in the capital for a further opening this summer.

L’Ulivo currently operates two other restaurants, one in Irving Street, Leicester Square and a site in Villiers Street, Charring Cross.

CDG Leisure negotiated a surrender and re grant of a new lease to YO! Sushi from Transport For London for the Baker Street site.
