Theakstons, the real ale brewer, has invested £1.5m on converting part of its brewery site in Masham into a hotel and conference centre.
The company is to open a 13-room hotel next to its White Bear pub in May. The property will also include a penthouse suite, residents’ lounge, function room and two meeting rooms.
Simon Theakston, managing director, said: “Theakstons has been established for many years and we are proud of its rich heritage. The new hotel premises at White Bear will fit well with the company’s hospitality vision, and the location is perfect for the flourishing tourist trade.”
