Kefi Ltd, the company led by Nabil Mankarious and David Page, has secured the first site outside London for its The Real Greek brand, in Windsor, M&C Report has learnt.

The company has exchanged on a unit in the town’s River St near the bridge to Eton for an opening this summer.

The six-strong group, which reported turnover up from £7.2m to £7.76m in its last financial year, is also in advanced talks on a site in Soho for a further opening this year, with a  further two to three openings being lined up for 2015.

Last month, Page told M&C Report that like-for-like sales at the group were up between 10-15% on the previous year and that its Bankside site attracted 4,000 customers a week during the summer.

Page said: “Since we acquired the brand, we have spent three years updating the whole business, including changing every dish on the menu and closing one site in Brixton. We are very pleased with how this programme of change has gone and our new looking at further opportunities to expand the brand. The efficiencies we put in place are gaining traction.”
