TGI Friday’s, the Karen Forrester-led group, has become the latest brand to sign up to open at Gloucester Quays.
The 61-strong group has secured a 5,000sq ft unit at the scheme, which currently also home to an Ed’s Easy Diner, Zizzi, Chimichanga, The Real China and Loungers’ Portivo Lounge.
Forrester, UK managing director, said: “Five years ago we had no pipeline of future sites at all. Landlords saw us as very dated and just not sexy enough. Now we’re a credible brand again and can decide where we want to open.”
The company is hoping to double the number of restaurants it has in the UK by 2020.
