Tasty, the listed operator of the Dim T and Wildwood restaurant brands, is poised to buy two outlets from Paramount Restaurants. The company has reached agreed terms to acquire two leasehold properties in Loughton and Billericay, which it plans to open as Wildwood pizza restaurants. The outlets currently trade under Brasserie Gerard format. Tasty said the additional acquisition would lead to an increase in the number of restaurants it expected to open in 2010, signaling its confidence in the Wildwood brand. The Paramount disposals are part of a 37-strong package being marketed for sale by Christie & Co.
