Shoryu, the Hakata ramen concept owned by the Japan Centre group, will open its third site in London, named Shoryu Go, next month.

Due to open in a unit in Air Street, Soho, previously home to the umai sushi bar and part of the Kingly Court redevelopment, Shoryu Go is being billed as London’s first dedicated tonkotsu ramen take-out bar.

There will be five covers for eating in and customers will be able to watch the chefs preparing their orders while they wait.

The menu will focus on Shoryu’s bestselling ramen, including piri piri tonkotsu, tonkotsu curry and the signature Shoryu ganso tonkotsu, complemented by side dishes such as hirata buns, gyoza and sushi boxes.

Japan Centre’s growing portfolio includes its flagship supermarket on Shaftesbury Avenue, restaurants Shoryu Ramen on Regent Street and Shoryu Soho on Denman Street, and umai Westfield Stratford City.

DCL acted on Kingly Court.
