Lock Place Ltd, the company behind Shaka Zulu, the events arena and high end dining venture in London’s Camden has been placed into administration, M&C Report understands.

UHY Hacker Young has been appointed administrators to the site, which is a joint venture between Roger Payne, who previously operated The Cuban chain and Camden Stables Market.

The 850-cover outlet features two restaurants, a bar and club and is themed around South African Zulu culture.

The business changed hands last July after its original parent company was placed into liquidation.
