Rivington Street Holdings (RSH), the Isle of Man-based financial media and services group, has confirmed the appointment of Amit Pau, former head of the Indian Restaurant Group (IRG), as chief executive of its UK operations. Amit Pau, who resigned as chief executive of IRG earlier this month, will oversee the roll out of the Real Man Pizza Company, the RSH-backed concept, which launched its first restaurant in London’s Clerkenwell at the start of April. Alfredo Villa, chief executive of investment company Brainspark, which is an investor in IRG, has taken over from Pau at the Indian restaurant chain. RSH plans to open 10 restaurants in London under the Real Man Pizza name over the next three years. The company launched its first restaurant under the brand on the site of the former Cantina Augusto restaurant. The group is in advanced negotiations on a second site in Fulham, which it hopes to open this summer, with a third opening planned before the end of the year.
