Restaurant companies are reportedly among those looking at sites operated by Blockbuster, the video rental company that was placed in administration this month.
The Times reports that supermarkets and restaurant groups are vying to pick up Blockbuster stores . It said Blockbuster’s administrator Deloitte has sent information to c20 parties, with interest across the retail and leisure sectors.
In total 160 Blockbuster stores are earmarked for closure.
