Rawligion, the healthy eating grab and do concept, has closed both of its two sites.

The vegan concept, which sold plant-based raw salads and juices, was founded by former professional poker player John Tabatabai, launching in Fitzrovia in June 2016, followed by a second site in Balham late last year with fitness studio Dog House.

An Instagram post confirming the closures said: “The time has come to move on, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end. We’ll be biding our time until the time is ripe for the new generation of Rawligion.”

Tabatabai told MCA last year he had secured funding for five further sites and could see Rawligion working as both kiosks and flagship stores.
