Punto Pasta, the north Italy-based restaurant group, has placed its only UK site in London’s Gresham Street on the market, M&C Report understands.
The group signed a 10-year lease for the c4,300sq ft former Tiffinbites site in Russia Row in The City, with the restaurant launched in October 2012.
Davis Coffer Lyons is marketing the site. The premises are held on a 10-year FRI lease from 20 July 2012 subject to review in the fifth year at a current rent of £60,000 per annum.
V8 Gourmet, the operator of the Tiffinbites and Bombay Bicycle brands, was acquired out of administration by businessman Saeeda Jaffery, for an undisclosed sum in 2011.
The Tiffinbites sites in Russia Row and Westfield London were closed shortly after the transaction completed.
