Poncho8, the London-based, fast-growing burrito concept, has launched a breakfast offer across its estate

The group, which recently secured a further two sites in the capital as it looks to expand to 20 sites by the end of 2014, said that the new breakfast menu had been developed by its innovation chef, Stephen Parkins Knight, who has developed award winning food for Dishroom, M&S, Paris Baguette and Greencore.

It features three main breakfast lines; the Poncho breakfast wrap, a granola pot and porridge, prepared in-house each morning. The three lines will be joined by premium arabica coffee and a selection of cakes.

The news correlates with the opening of Poncho8’s fourth site, on New Street Square, on Thursday 25 April, with a fifth site on Devonshire Row opening on Wednesday 1 May. Both the new sites will serve breakfast immediately, with Poncho8’s remaining three sites following suit soon after.

“It’s been a great year for us so far, with the launch of the UK’s first burrito app and now two more Ponchos with an exciting new look,” said the company’s co-founder Frank Yeung. “We’re very excited about breakfast and its potential in the City, and we can’t wait to refit our existing three sites.”
