BrewDog, Gatwick
The brewer has opened a new bar at London Gatwick’s North Terminal under a partnership with SSP Group.
It comes after the two companies recently launched a BrewDog bar at Amsterdam Centraal Station, the first of its kind in a travel location in mainland Europe.
Over the next few years, the partnership will see SSP open and operate a number of BrewDog bars at airports and railway stations across the UK.
Patisserie Valerie, Bristol
Patisserie Valerie has reopened its store in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.
One of its biggest branches has re-opened with a revamp from the ground up, featuring a new flagship decor inspired by our continental roots, and by the Art Deco movement.
It features a new menu too, including newly created Continental Brunch - a twist on afternoon tea - and a licensed drinks selection, joining the many seasonal treats.
BAM Karaoke Box, Victoria
Entertainment venue BAM Karaoke Box is launching in London in Spring 2024, near Victoria Station.
Arriving from Paris, BAM which stands for Boîte à Musique, combines private karaoke with Parisian style.
At 10,000 sq ft, the venue offers 22 private Karaoke rooms, a BAM BAM bar, outdoor terrace and a live music stage and DJ booth.
Oxygen, York
Oxygen Activeplay is to set to launch its latest concept, with a 20,000 sq ft flagship at Clifton Moor Centre Retail Park in York.
Opening in February 2024, Oxygen York is the first site designed under the brand’s new Activeplay concept and represents a £2.3m investment.
Set over a ground floor and mezzanine, the venue will include parkour bounce zones, inflatable obstacle courses, various climbing challenges, party rooms, and a “best-in-class” F&B offer.
Nam Nam, Shoreditch
Vietnamese street food concept Nam Nam has secured a second site in Shoreditch.
It joins an existing Surrey Quays location.
The former Neds Noodles site on Pitfield Street is current undergoing rennovations and will open in the new year.
July, Fitzrovia
Opening in early spring 2024, July will be a new Alsatian-inspired restaurant and wine bar on Fitzrovia’s Charlotte Street.
Open all day, the space will serve breakfast pastries and coffee in the morning, a concise lunchtime offering, and an evening menu featuring bar snacks, small plates, charcuterie and cheese.
July is the brainchild of food writer Solynka Dumas and co-founder Julian Oschmann who met during lockdown when they were both living in the same apartment block in Berlin.
