Wingstop UK has announced its new site opening in Birmingham. The New Street location will be the second dine-in site in the city, alongside Wingstop Birmingham Bullring.

Birmingham New Street will sell the brand’s signature wings, tenders, burgers and sides. Wingstop UK now has 37 sites across the country and is aiming to have 40 by the end of the year.

 

Cosy Club, Oxford

Cosy Club Oxford has opened its doors at Northgate House, Cornmarket Street. The new site features interiors inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and Victoriana with nods to Biba-esq styling from the Swinging Sixties. 

An all-day menu will feature modern classics, an extensive brunch range as well as a selection of gluten free and vegan options.

The site features two private areas available to book; The Treasury, a private dining room decorated with reclaimed stained-glass screens from a Victorian banking hall, and the Mulberry Suite, decked with velvet walls and mirrored ceiling. 

Six By Nico, Birmingham

Six By Nico will open its latest site in Birmingham at 81 Colmore Row, next month. It marks the thirteenth location for the brand, which already has multiple sites across the UK, including Glasgow, Edingburgh and London Canary Wharf. 

Founded by chef Nico Simeone, Six by Nico offers guests a six-course tasting menu that changes every six weeks, drawing inspiration from a theme, destination, or concept.

The venue will accommodate approximately 72 guests.

Nando’s, Cardiff

Nando’s has opened a new restaurant at Cardiff Capital Retail Park, it’s fourth restaurant in the city. The new site seats 117 inside and 12 outside

The new site serves Nando’s classic dishes alongside the recently launched Fully Loaded Chips. A Rubro machine will offer bottomless iced tea to customers. 

El Pastor, Battersea

The small Mexican restaurant chain from Harts Group, is to open a new location at Battersea Power Station in spring 2024.

El Pastor Battersea will comprise a 90-cover indoor restaurant, a drinks-led standing bar area for 20, a 26-cover Mexican greenhouse inspired private dining room and a 60-cover open-all-year outdoor riverside terrace.

It marks the group’s fourth restaurant opening following the first El Pastor, which opened on London Bridge’s Stoney Street in December 2016. 

Oakberry, Portobello Road

International açai brand Oakberry has announced the opening of its second London store, located on Portobello Road, London.

The brand continues to expand its footprint in London, offering organic, vegan, non-GMO açai products that are free of artificial preservatives, food colourings, and syrups.

The Portobello Road menu will feature a wide variety of customisable açai options, alongside smoothies, protein bars, matcha, and specialty coffee. 

Kiss The Hippo, Chelsea

Sloane Stanley has announced Kiss The Hippo is set to join the south side of the Fulham neighbourhood later this year.

The 600 sq ft café is to be located at 285 Fulham Road, joining the ethically sourced coffee house’s existing sites in Fitzrovia, Richmond, King’s Cross, and Shoreditch. 

Kings342, the new coffee bar and street food concept by Street Food Markets Ltd, is also set to join the Sloane Stanley estate at the end of the month, taking a 1,277 sq ft unit at 342 King’s Road. 

Italian street-food concept Dez Amore,  will open a 1,178 sq ft unit at 273 Fulham Road, sitting adjacent to retailers such as Orée, M&S, and Ted’s Grooming Room.
