Italian concept Lina Stores will launch its fifth site on Clapham’s The Pavement this June. The new outpost will keep with its signature neighbourhood-style restaurant but without the deli element of Lina Stores’ other sites.

The two-floor, 80-cover restaurant will serve antipasti, pasta dishes, and dolci, alongside the brand’s first breakfast offering.

 

Bunsik, Manchester

Korean grab-and-go concept Bunsik will launch its first site outside London in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens this summer. The 2,000 sq ft site will offer the brand’s signature corn dogs, Korean soul food, and bubble teas, along with new Bingsu (Korean shaved ice) desserts.

Liverpool-based operator The Big Fang Collective will open its seventh Golf Fang site on Nottingham’s Daleside Road. The venue will offer an 18-hole crazy golf experience, along with themed cocktails and DJs in a ‘sprayground’ environment with location-specific work from graffiti artists.

Global bakery concept Paris Baguette has opened its newest store on London’s High Street Kensington, marking its second London location. The brand, which has 4000+ stores across 10 countries, offers an all-day menu including baguettes, classic French pastries, eclairs, and its signature three-layer cakes.

 

Badiani, Essex and Brighton

London-based artisan gelato brand Badiani has announced it is taking its first steps outside the capital, with openings in Essex and Brighton. It will open at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex on 26 May and on Duke Street in the Lanes of Brighton on 9 June.

The stores will serve the brand’s artisanal gelato in 16 seasonal varieties, alongside newly launched gelato burgers, pinguinos, crepes, and waffles.

US-founded gourmet QSR brand Eggslut will open its fourth location and first within a food hall in partnership with Market Halls. The breakfast and brunch-centred offer will focus on Eggslut’s trademark dishes such as the egg and brioche sandwiches, but also offer new items such as a spicy chicken sando.

 

The Gurkhas, Fitzrovia

Nepalese concept The Gurkhas has opened on London’s Great Portland Street, serving plates and recipes from different parts of Nepal. The menu features snacks, sharing dishes, and large plates, with a six-course tasting menu to be launched in the coming months.

Dishes include the popular Nepalese dish Kukura ko Jhol Momo (steamed dumplings in tomato sauce) to monkfish choila, pork chop with sisnu (nettle), and makai ko risotto.

 

Olea Social, Covent Garden

Mediterranean concept Olea Social has made its debut at The Yards in Covent Garden with a 200-cover, 7,000 sq ft restaurant. It serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine, centred on small plates, regional wines, and exclusive cocktails.
