Croma, the Manchester-based, independent restaurant operator, has signed a franchise deal with Odeon, the largest cinema chain in the UK, to operate pizza restaurants at selected sites. The four-strong restaurant group, which was launched in 2000 by ex-Pizza Express employees Andrew Bullock, Bob Dunn and Lottie Hollinworth, has opened the first site under the agreement on the mezzanine level of the Odeon in Tunbridge Wells. It is thought that a second site will come online in Loughborough next month. Croma opened it first site in Macnhester in 2000, a second site opened five years later in Chorlton, followed by a third site in Prestwich in 2007. The menu at the Tunbridge Wells restaurant, which was designed by Italian restaurant designer, Enzo Apicella offers a range of starters, pizzas, salads and pasta, plus the group’s Pizzatini children’s menu.
