Kevin Norman, who stepped down as head of acquisitions at Novus, the LGV Capital and Hutton Collins-backed operator of premium bars and restaurants, earlier this month, joins Intertain, the Walkabout brand operator, today, as an acquisitions consultant.

Earlier this year, Intertain announced changes in ownership that it said would see it actively pursue expansion opportunities. Chief executive John Leslie told M&C Report that there was now a “growth agenda” in place for the group.

Novus is currently carrying out a consultation process at its London head office that is likely to lead to a number of redundancies.

Norman joined the c50-strong group from Inventive Leisure last October where he was also head of acquisitions.

He spent over three-and-a-half years as senior acquisitions surveyor with JD Wetherspoon.

He had been tasked by Novus to aid in the doubling of its central London portfolio over the next three years.
