Nextep Inns, the pubco launched by brothers John and Peter Knowles, has secured its fourth site in the North West.

The company, which plans to operate an estate of six pubs in the next three years, has re-opened the Bayley Arms, Hurst Green, after a month’s refurbishment.

The brothers previously re-opened the Feilden’s Arms, a Punch Taverns pub in the village of Mellor Brook, near Blackburn, the Bay Horse at Osbaldeston and the Red Lion at Wybunbury.

Peter Knowles said: “We never went into this for just one pub. The target is to have six pubs up and running within three years.”
