A new company has been set up to raise c£5m to develop Green’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar, the central London restaurant headed by Simon Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall’s former brother-in-law, according to The Times.

Green’s 2013 has been established to raise the money under the Enterprise Investment Scheme to relocate it to what the newspaper reports is Marco Pierre White’s Wheeler’s of St James’s.

According to The Times, the Parker Bowles is to wind down his involvement in the business and his nephew Tom Parker Bowles, the food writer, will enter as a shareholder and director. Stephen Evans, former Whitbread and Forte executive, will be brought in as chief executive.
