Made in Italy, the Corsaro family-led restaurant chain, is set to launch its next stage of growth with the opening of a new site, the redevelopment of its Luna Rossa unit and a return to the acquisition trail.

The seven-strong group has opened Mozzarella&More a new traditional Italian trattoria, alongside a mozzarella bar and delicatessen in Chelsea, west London, located just two doors away from its original Made in Italy restaurant which has been trading for 20 years.

The chain, which is led by Giuseppe Corsaro, eldest son in the family, is also set to invest £250k on the relaunch of its Luna site in Notting Hill. The site will be redeveloped as a 90-cover restaurant, featuring a Ciccheti bar and deli.

Corsaro said: “After trading for over two decades, we feel we have a good understanding of our customer base, and this is a pivotal moment for the group to both rejuvenate existing sites and open new units. At Mozzarella&More we are excited to now enhance their experience and offer them something a little bit extra. By having our own facility to produce cheese in London, we can ensure our customers get the very best and freshest of ingredients.”
