Luminar is to spend £1.3m on its latest conversion from Ocean to Pryzm, in Leeds.
It will feature three different dance rooms under one roof. The club’s Ballroom will become the main Pryzm dance room, the Wakyama Tokyo area will become the smaller Curve music room and the Parisian Boudoir will be transformed into a VIP cocktail bar with VIP booth seating, sponsored by Belvedere Vodka.
The investment will create 50 jobs.
The venue’s general manager Jonathon Guest said: “Oceana Leeds is one of the UK’s most popular nightclubs, attracting up to 5,000 clubbers on a typical trading week. After almost nine successful years in the city it’s time to reward our loyal customers with an exciting, state of the art club that will literally have the wow factor, securing our title as the most prestigious venue in town.”
Pryzm Leeds opens on Friday 28 March.
