Lane7, the boutique bowling concept based in Newcastle, is heading to Sheffield.
Lane7 will open next year at The Moor development, with a bowling alley, bar and restaurant as well as pool tables, retro gaming arcades, karaoke and ping pong.
Led by Tim Wilks, the three-strong group has a £7.5m expansion fund, and is opening sites in Aberdeen and Middlesbrough this year, followed by Durham and Birmingham in 2018.
Wilks told the Sheffield Star: “The main difference between us and the mainstream bowling alleys is that while we’re there for children during the day our priority when fitting out is to make it appeal to the adult market.”
