Kukui, the up-scale destination bar and club operator, is looking to expand its two-strong estate, M&C Report has learnt. The company has appointed Coffer Corporate Leisure to advise on bringing new investment into the business, as it explores opportunities to fund its roll out. The business, which was set up by internet entrepreneur Harvey Sinclair and Stuart Kerley, former ops manager at the PoNaNa Group, currently operates clubs in the University towns of Bournemouth and Oxford, and is believed to be close to securing a third location also in the South. The up-scale clubs are both designed along a South Pacific islands theme, inspired by the tiki axis of Easter Island, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Hawaii.
