Tony Kitous, owner of Comptoir Libanais, the London-based Lebanese fast-casual concept, is looking at the possibility of expanding Shawa, his grill café format.

Kitous launched the concept, which focuses on ‘gourmet shawarmas’, at The Balcony in Westfield London in 2009.

He is now believed to be in talks to open a further site under the format in Bluewater, after recently opening a restaurant under his core brand at the scheme.

Comptoir Libanais will open its ninth site this April after completing a deal to open a unit at the Kingston Riverside scheme.

The group recently opened in Bluewater and Duke of York Square, Chelsea.

It has also secured a unit at the Heathrow’s Terminal 4 for an opening this June.
