London-based Eastern and Mediterranean food concept Kebabish Original has opened its first branch in the North East.
The restaurant has opened in a former hair salon on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.
The restaurant will seat 90, and employ around 15 staff. Like all Kebabish restaurants, it will feature a 10ft barbecue-style grill in an open kitchen.
Pervez told local paper the Evening Gazette: "The restaurant is a new experience, both for myself and the town, but I am full of confidence."
Nationally, there are 63 Kebabish Original outlets.
