Maria Kempinska, founder and driving force behind the brand. “This next step in Jongleurs growth once again demonstrates the versatility of the offering - we are taking talent to the fashion trend setters and they love it. “This partnership with The Ministry once again demonstrates how much comedy, as a genre, has changed in the past few years. It’s now even more vibrant, funky, and fashionable it’s engaging with a younger audience alongside the established social groups.” The link up with the Ministry of Sound is the latest in a number of new initiatives by Jongleurs as it looks to increase its business and brand presence both nationally and internationally. The comedy club group is currently in talks to open its first site in the US. It is in the final stages of agreeing terms on a venue in New York that it plans to open later this year. The company also currently operates around 20 venues and comedy nights across the UK, which includes partnerships with nightclub operator Luminar and a number of venue launches under its franchise agreement with Momo Leisure. In March, Jongleurs said it planned to open a further eight sites across the UK as it extended its link up with Luminar.
