Jimmy Spice’s, the West Midlands-based restaurant operator, has acquired its fifth site located in Stratford-upon-Avon for an undisclosed sum. The company has purchased the leasehold interest of the former Yates’s Bar in the Windsor Complex and will reopen it as a 200-cover restaurant on 17 June. The group, which currently operates sites in Birmingham, Epsom, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield, specialises in a fusion buffet concept serving a range of Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai cuisine. The company, which also runs the NYC Bar & Lounge in Solihull and the Blue Mango Indian Brasserie in Birmingham, is looking to expand its portfolio in the South of England. Jaswinder Choongh, managing director of Jimmy Spice’s, said: “We were very happy to have secured this great site in Stratford-upon-Avon. After several complicated negotiations, a satisfactory deal was agreed and we are now fitting out our fifth restaurant which we plan to open on 17th June.” Christie & Co handled the deal.
