Jackson + Rye, the fledgling Richard Caring-backed bar and restaurant concept, has exchanged on the former Union Jacks site in Chiswick, M&C Report understands.

The group, which opened its first site in Soho last December, has secured the former Jamie Oliver-led site subject to landlord’s approval, with an opening pencilled in for late this spring.

Jackson + Rye, which is led by by Mark Askew, former executive head chef at Gordon Ramsay Holdings, and Hannah Bass, former UK operations director at Hakkasan, feature menus inspired by US east coast cuisine.

The first site in Wardour Street at the former Osatsuma site is open from 8am till late, seven days a week, and will offer breakfast, bar and all day informal dining.
