Indian Restaurants Group (IRG), previously known as Mela Group, has appointed Alfredo Villa as a non-executive director as part of its recent cash raising exercise.
Villa is CEO of Brainspark, which holds 29.9 per cent of the ordinary share capital of IRG.
The Alternative Investment Market listed company placed shares with Brainspark last month raising £139,475 of working capital.
IRG, which has a Mela restaurant in Surrey’s Redhill as well as on London’s Shafestbury Avenue, announced last month that it had made a loss of £680k in 2009.
