Individual Inns, the North Yorkshire-based pub operator, is set to open its sixth site after taking on the Wheatsheaf near Kendal.
The company, which is headed by Ewan Harries, the former Bass executive, and Martin Clarkson, is currently renovating and extending the pub in the village of Brigsteer, with an opening scheduled for later this summer.
It also operates the Tempest Arms, at Elslack, between Colne and Skipton; the Spread Eagle Inn, Sawley, near Clitheroe; the Masons Arms, at Strawberry Bank, Cartmel Fell; the Wheatley Arms, at Ben Rhydding, Ilkley; and the Fountaine Inn, Linton-in-Craven, North Yorkshire.
