Hummus Bros have launched a new series of pop-up sites with a pitch at City University, London.
The group has planned similar openings at Roehampton and Middlesex universities. These will take place over the next two weeks.
Previous pop ups have also appeared at Goldsmiths, University of London, and Heathrow Airport, which was the group’s first to open outside of the M25.
A spokesman said: “At the moment, things seem to be going well with the pop ups, the feedback has been very good. We have been giving out samples and asking people what they think. There is a lot of improvisation involved because each site is a little bit different.”
The menu was changed slightly to accommodate the student penchant for food on the go.
The spokesman said: “Students seem to really prefer wraps to bowls. The first time they eat [at Hummus Bros] they have the wrap; it’s what they know, it’s what they understand.”
