Hudsons American Brasserie has secured its third site in north London.

The business, founded by former Delisserie director Martin Ment in 2015, will open in the former Delisserie site on Shenley Road in Borehamwood.

Five-strong New York deli and grill concept Delisserie went into liquidation earlier this year.

CDG Leisure worked with valuation and insolvency agents Williams and Partners to secure the 2,830 sq ft unit for Hudsons. It also secured Delisserie’s Buckingham Parade site for Pinner-based ice cream parlour Indulge Dessert Lounge’s second opening.

Emma Cousins at CDG Leisure, said: “This is a great outcome for Delisserie and a testament to the strength of the two brands. Hudsons’ extensive repertoire of iconic American dishes is guaranteed to generate a buzz with Borehamwood diners.”

Earlier this year The Gate took its site on Allitsen Road in St John’s Wood, and will open its fourth restaurant there in October, while all-day bistro Bob’s Café opened its third restaurant at the former Delisserie site on The Broadway in Mill Hill in April.
