Neil McDonnell, the Chester-based experienced restaurant and bar operator, is planning to roll out Hickory’s Smokehouse, his authentic American BBQ concept.
The concept was launched 18 months ago at The Groves in Chester and after a successful first year, McDonnell is seeking sites between 3,000-5,000sq ft in town and cities across the UK to open further restaurants under the brand.
He has appointed property advisor Kenney Moore to seek sites in towns and cities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and York.
McDonnell also operates the Barlounge and Upstairs at the Grill in Chester.
