Woking Shopping, the joint venture between Moyallen and Woking Borough Council, has announced the opening of Grill and Go and Chopstix Noodle Bar in Peacocks Place, the scheme’s food court.

Grill and Go has opened a 770sq ft kiosk situated next to Chopstix’s 620sq ft noodle bar, both alongside one another in Peacocks Place.  The brands add to the existing dining offer, which is also home to McDonalds, Subway and KFC.

Tim Buckley of Moyallen said: “We are delighted to welcome Grill and Go and Chopstix, who join the existing catering brands to create even more choice for visitors to Woking Shopping.  Along with the other recent additions, such as Patisserie Valerie and Pret, we have a breadth and diversity of dining offer that complements our enhanced retail mix.”

The news follows the submission of a planning application in January to create to the Victoria Square development, which includes 125,000sq ft of new retail floor space anchored by a 60,000sq ft Marks & Spencer; a 190 bed four star hotel with conference facilities, spa and gym in a 21 storey tower; 392 residential apartments in two towers of 28 and 34 storeys; space for a medical centre; 380 additional car parking spaces, and two new public plazas.

JLL and Nash Bond represented Woking Shopping.  Davis Coffer Lyons acted for Chopstix and Graham Tring Associates represented Grill and Go.
