Goodman, the backers of the Burger & Lobster concept, is understood to have secured the former Vodka Revolution bar in St Anne’s Court, London, M&C Report has learnt.

It is thought that the group, which is believed to have secured the Soho site in an off market deal, could use the unit as a further opening for its Lobster Roll format that it is set to launch in Binney Street.

The company currently operates five sites under core brand Burger & Lobster, including a restaurant in Soho’s Dean Street.

It secured a further unit, which is thought will be its sixth Burger & Lobster site in London, in Little Great Portland Street, last year.

Burger & Lobster secured its first site in the US, in New York City at the end of last year, with an opening planned for this August.

Goodman plans to roll out its Burger & Lobster concept across the UK, as well as internationally, in the next couple of years, with a focus on both major and minor cities.

The company will also open sites around the UK, the first of which is most likely to launch in 2015. Manchester, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Dublin are all slated as possible locations, as well as student and tourist towns such as Oxford and Cambridge.

Seb Howard at CBRE is understood to have acted on the St Anne’s Court deal.
