Ten pubs owned by private equity group GI Partners and managed by Orchid Pub Company have been placed on the market with Fleurets, M&C Report has learnt.
The pubs are part of GI’s Black Pubs Limited vehicle and consist of eight leaseholds, including one long leasehold, and two freeholds. A number of the sites operate under the Bar Room Bar concept.
They are located across the country including London, Leeds, Bristol, Stratford Upon Avon, Birmingham and Scotland.
James Davies of Fleurets’ London office said: “There has been more activity in the first couple of months of 2014 than for many years, so I expect there to be strong demand for such prime managed house opportunities. Perhaps more telling is that all 10 will remain as either wet or food led businesses.’
The three London sites are Arc in Finsbury, Bar Room Bar in E11 and Junction in N5.
The other sites are: Hole In The Wall, Stratford-upon-Avon; the Cow, Cambridge; the Hill, Bristol; the Mailbox, Birmingham; Bar Room Bar, Leeds; Midland Hotel, Liverpool; Paraffin Lamp, Livingston, Scotland.
